What if nothing works at all suddenly? +

Honestly? Just try refreshing the page. Most issues from LinkedIn field glitches to minor extension hiccups get fixed with a quick refresh. It’s the magic reset button 🔄.

Why is my note not pasting into LinkedIn? +

Make sure the LinkedIn message box is visible and editable. If needed, refresh the page before clicking “Insert This.”

Do I need to log in or sign up? +

No login or sign-up needed. It works entirely in your browser without any account or cloud sync.

Can I reorder my saved notes? +

Drag-and-drop support is coming soon! Currently, new notes appear at the top.

Will there be dark mode? +

Yes! Light/Dark/Auto theme selection will be available in the next update.

How do I request a new feature? +

Can I pin my favorite templates? +

This feature is coming soon! You’ll soon be able to star or pin notes you use most often.
Currently, this is only available for Connection Notes. We're working on bringing it to Message Templates too.

Can I export my data to Google Drive? +

Currently no, but we’re exploring future options for backup/export to cloud safely with user consent.

Why doesn’t the note auto-insert sometimes? +

LinkedIn UI changes may block insertion. Please refresh or manually click insert again.

Will Connectlift Mate stay free forever? +

Yes, core features will always be free. If we add advanced premium tools, basic productivity will still remain free.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts for faster access? +

Keyboard shortcut functionality is in testing. We’ll release it soon for power users.

Is my LinkedIn data completely safe? +

Yes! We never access your LinkedIn login, cookies, or messages. The extension only interacts with the visible message input box.

Can I organize templates by categories? +

Category and tag-based organization is planned for future versions. Right now, notes are sorted by date added.

Will I get a notification when features are updated? +

You’ll soon see a “What’s New” tab inside the extension for release notes and feature updates.

Can I use Connectlift Mate in other languages? +

We’re planning to add multilingual support soon to make Connectlift Mate globally user-friendly.

Why is Connectlift Mate not showing on all LinkedIn pages? +

The extension is designed to work only on message or note fields. Some profile layouts may not support it directly.

Why does it sometimes feel like the note got pasted but nothing shows up? +

That’s usually a LinkedIn rendering delay. Just click once inside the box or refresh the page it’ll appear immediately.

Is it okay if I customize the note after pasting? +

Of course! The note is just a starting point feel free to personalize it. The pasted content is fully editable.

Can this extension harm my LinkedIn account or get me restricted? +

No. It does not automate anything or violate LinkedIn rules. You are always the one clicking and sending. Safe and human-friendly.

Sometimes the insert button just doesn’t work is it a bug? +

Not always. It might be LinkedIn’s field not loading fully. Refresh the page or reopen the modal that usually fixes it.

Why does editing a saved note sometimes feel weird or laggy? +

If your note is long or has line breaks/emojis, the browser may lag a little while editing. Just try refreshing once.

What happens if I click “Insert This” but nothing pastes? +

That likely means the LinkedIn message input field wasn’t active. Try clicking inside the box or refreshing the page.

Can I disable the default note behavior completely? +

Yes. Just go to Settings and uncheck “Use Default Note Automatically” you can then manually insert notes only when needed.

Why don’t you offer login and sync across devices? +

Because we value your privacy. Everything stays offline and simple. No signups, no sync, no surveillance.

Can I reset the extension to default settings? +

Yes go to Settings > Clear All Notes & Messages. That gives you a clean slate.

Is Connectlift Mate only useful for job seekers? +

Not at all! It’s helpful for founders, marketers, recruiters, freelancers anyone doing LinkedIn outreach consistently.
